1. Fundamental values and principles of the European Union

Target group are students of all levels of studies and from all faculties and departments of the University who are interested in gaining additional knowledge on the basic ideas of European integration, European Union, its goals and fundamental values.

2. European Union a Union based on rule of law

     Prof.  Vladimir Medović Ph.D.

Target group of the intensive training course are graduate legal professionals, particularly: judges, judicial assistants, judicial trainees, prosecutors and deputy prosecutors, trainees in prosecutors` offices, attorneys, attorney trainees and employees in the Office of ombudsman in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, officials and employees at the state, provincial and local institutions.

Programme:

1st weekend:

Fundamental values of the European Union, 2 hours

Proceedings against Member States for breach of the EU values,  2 hours

2nd weekend:

Principles of Rule of Law and Effective judicial control, 2 hours

General principles of EU law in the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the  European Union, 2 hours

3rd  weekend:

Accession negotiations: Chapter 23 – Judiciary and fundamental rights, main problems and challenges, 3 hours

Accession negotiations: Chapter 24 – Justice, freedom and security, main problems and challenges, 3 hours

3. Regional economic integration of Western Balkans in the context of European Integrations

Target group for the following course are graduate and undergraduate students of Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management with specialization in Business Economy, International Economics and International Diplomacy, Engineering Management in Agribusiness, Ecology and Informatics.

4. EU Trade Policy and European values

5. Human Rights Protection in the European Union

Target group for the following course are graduate and undergraduate students of Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary and other faculties within University.

6. Human rights and climate change within the EU legal framework
